World Class Experiences
The famed Elephant bar is an institution in the city and an absolute must visit.
Praise
The spa is impressive, as is the slick Art Deco lobby. The original building, as is so often the case, is superior to the two new wings, but only in terms of character. And the best rooms, naturally, are the Jackie O and the Landmark suites, with their real Persian rugs and Deco-period furnishings, including Cambodian curios, canopy beds and claw-footed bathtubs.

Hotels Own Introduction
A legacy reimagined
Raffles Hotel Le Royal stands as one of Phnom Penh’s great landmarks—its storied past reinterpreted through a refined, contemporary lens. Blending French colonial, Khmer, and Art Deco influences, the hotel’s spacious rooms and suites offer a serene sanctuary in the heart of Cambodia’s vibrant capital.
Rooms shaped by heritage
Set around a tranquil central courtyard and its enchanting pool, the hotel’s accommodations radiate character and calm. The suites—luxurious and deeply atmospheric—unite traditional Khmer details with elegant Art Deco accents. Each is individually named in tribute to Cambodia’s history or to distinguished guests who once stayed here, including Charlie Chaplin, Jacqueline Kennedy, Charles de Gaulle, and Somerset Maugham.
Gastronomy with royal roots
From dishes once served in the Royal Palace to contemporary French and international cuisine, dining at Raffles Hotel Le Royal is a journey through heritage and modern flair. Beneath a magnificent hand-painted ceiling, Restaurant Le Royal celebrates centuries-old royal recipes, modern Khmer gastronomy, and the art of tableside guéridon service.
Icons and indulgence at Elephant Bar
The Elephant Bar’s most storied creation, the Femme Fatale, was crafted for Jacqueline Kennedy during her 1967 visit—a sparkling blend of champagne, cognac, and wild strawberry liqueur still served today. Guests can also explore one of Asia’s largest gin collections, including the bar’s own Elephant Bar Gin.
Wellness designed for harmony
Raffles Spa provides a serene environment dedicated to wellbeing, offering both traditional Khmer therapies and modern treatments. With saunas, steam rooms, Jacuzzis, five treatment rooms, a fitness centre, and an outdoor lap pool, it is a peaceful retreat for restoration and renewal.
