Hotels Own Introduction
A Vision Brought to Life
Murtoli is unlike anywhere else in the world — a place, a philosophy, and a living heritage of Corsica. Born from the passion and determination of a local son, the estate was revived to honor its ancestral roots while reimagining them for today.
A Unique Concept in Hospitality
Neither simply agritourism nor a conventional hotel, Domaine de Murtoli defies definition. It is one of the rare 5-star properties in Southern Corsica open most of the year, from April to December. Conceived as a “spread-out hotel,” it brings together around 20 restored 17th-century shepherds’ houses and grand mansions. Scattered across the vast landscape, some several kilometers apart, they all benefit from tailored hotel services and create an extraordinary, immersive experience.
Between Nature and Luxury
At the heart of the estate lies the farm, surrounded by olive groves and vegetable gardens. A short stroll away, a heated valley pool and bar offer both seclusion and sweeping views of mountains and maquis. The estate itself is a mosaic of landscapes: sea, river, beaches, dunes, plains, hills, forests, and mountains, all blending into a backdrop of unspoiled beauty.
Unmatched Variety of Experiences
Murtoli is a place where you can fish in the Mediterranean, play golf, ride horses, or even host a seminar — all in a single day. Few destinations bring together such diversity of experiences in one setting.
A Celebration of Local Flavors
The estate’s cuisine is deeply rooted in the land and sea. Guests savor veal and lamb raised on the farm, seasonal fruits and vegetables from the gardens, cheeses crafted by shepherds, olive oil pressed in the estate’s mill, and freshly caught sea bream from nearby waters. Every meal reflects the authenticity and richness of Corsican terroir.
