Hotels Own Introduction
A Timeless Icon of Macau
Rising 11 storeys above the city, Hotel Central is home to 114 refined rooms and suites, each thoughtfully designed to reflect Macau’s rich cultural heritage. Guests are invited to journey through different eras, from the vintage allure of the 1920s and the classic refinement of the 1930s to the understated elegance of the 1940s. Every room offers its own perspective on the city, with views of the Ruins of St. Paul, the historic Inner Harbour or the lively Avenida de Almeida Ribeiro, creating a serene and evocative setting in which to relive the spirit of old Macau.
Nostalgic Gastronomy
As Hotel Central returns to its former glory, the Palace Restaurant has been reimagined as an elevated dining destination celebrating nostalgic flavours. Honouring traditional culinary culture, the kitchen brings together premium Chinese and Western ingredients with refined modern techniques, presenting an elegant selection of seasonal dishes marked by depth, balance and sophistication.
A Living Chronicle
On the ground floor, a dedicated cultural gallery traces more than a century of history through rare photographs, artefacts and archival materials. Curated with text by renowned Macau historian Dr Ieng Weng Fat, the exhibition tells the story of the Historic Centre of Macau, Avenida de Almeida Ribeiro and Hotel Central itself—capturing the prosperity of old Macau and the passage of time through the decades.
