Hotels Own Introduction
Welcome to L’Hôtel de la Plage
A Home with a Soul
At L’Hôtel de la Plage, we wanted to create something different — a place that feels more like staying at your grandparents' house than a typical hotel. Here, we go back to basics, with simplicity, relaxation, and a warm, genuine atmosphere at the heart of everything we do.
Rooms with a Story
Each of our 12 rooms is unique, named after someone who has made a mark on the hotel’s history. No two spaces are alike, and every corner of the house tells a story. We've taken care to preserve the spirit of this old building, which holds many memories — stories we’re always happy to share.
The Art of Living Well
Whether you're on the terrace, at the restaurant, or by the bar hut, life at L’Hôtel de la Plage is all about conviviality, good moments, and savoring the present. Our menu showcases the finest products from Southwest France and sometimes a little beyond, prepared with simplicity and precision. It's honest, feel-good food — nothing more, nothing less.
A Place Steeped in History
After two years of careful refurbishment, L’Hôtel de la Plage has reopened, breathing new life into its rich heritage. The story began in 1860, when it served as a dormitory and canteen for pine resin workers. It was lovingly run for years by cousins Janine and Michou, before being passed on to Nicolas Lascombes and Stessy Faber in 2011, founders and owners of Maison Faber Lascombes.
Here, history lives on, welcoming you to become part of it.
