Hotels Own Introduction
A Historic Retreat in Saint-Émilion
In the heart of Saint-Émilion, Hôtel de Pavie invites you to indulge in the region’s celebrated wines and refined hospitality. From the raised terrace, panoramic views stretch across the rooftops of the medieval village, best enjoyed over breakfast or an afternoon coffee. Elegant rooms and suites create a serene setting, complemented by the gourmet restaurant, La Table de Pavie, where Yannick Alléno’s signature cuisine awaits.
A Journey Through Time
Hôtel de Pavie carries a rich history. Once a convent where nuns welcomed pilgrims and travelers, it later became a coaching inn during the revolution. Over the centuries, it transformed into an inn, then a hotel restaurant, and in 1927 was named Hostellerie de Plaisance. After World War II, the property served as both an inn and a lively dance hall before evolving into the distinguished destination it is today.
La Table de Pavie
At La Table de Pavie, in the heart of the UNESCO-listed vineyards of Saint-Émilion, chef Yannick Alléno elevates local produce with his technical mastery and creative vision. Awarded three MICHELIN stars multiple times, his modern and refined cuisine pairs harmoniously with the exceptional wines of Saint-Émilion and Bordeaux, creating a dining experience that unites tradition, innovation, and terroir.
