Set in the charming village of Tunis, around two hours southwest of Cairo, Villa Fayoum is an intimate historic retreat surrounded by a lush 6,000-square-metre garden. Mature palms shade the property, while abundant local flora frames a spectacular 16-metre swimming pool crafted from golden granite and Sinai marble. With views stretching towards the lake, the villa offers a peaceful escape immersed in the natural beauty of Fayoum.

The 12-room villa and its adjoining houses have been sensitively restored using traditional materials and salvaged craftsmanship, preserving the character of the historic property while creating a comfortable contemporary retreat. Interiors were conceived by Zeina Aboukheir, founder of Al Moudira, and reflect her signature eclectic aesthetic. Vintage textiles, art, antiques, and handcrafted details are layered across the spaces, bringing together influences from different eras and cultures in a richly atmospheric setting.
