It's heart-warming to see how Polynesian traditions (rooms have hand-sewn Tifaifai bedspreads with botanical motifs, the staff wears pareus) give you a firm sense of place... Deep-sea water therapies at the spa are heavenly. The edge-of-the-world never felt so good.
